And they  lived happily ever after, De Cacaofabriek, Helmond, NL

Under the title " And They Lived Happily Ever After, " this exhibition introduces contemporary painting from the perspectives of eleven artists, each presenting painting as the most powerful medium of our time. The exhibition was initiated by four Eindhoven artists: Aaron van Erp, Aagje Linssen, Jeroen Vrijsen, and Saskia de Marée, working under the name De Eindhovense School (The Eindhoven School) . Taking their work as a starting point, curator Manus Groenen (writer, curator, and curator of education at the Boymans van Beuningen Museum) invited seven additional contemporary painters: Ide André, Sam Hersbach, Kimball Gunnar Holth, Esther Tielemans, Thijs Segers, Ema Vaneková, and Anouk van Zwieten. Together, these artists pay tribute to painting in all its complexity, urgency, and vitality.
